These boats have been designed and built for specific and well defined purposes. They are not intended as an all-around performer. Sport canoes are best suited to specific activities such as fishing, bird watching, hunting and photography. They are designed to offer a solid platform for the activity you choose to enjoy. You will find reliability, performance and fun are common traits built into each and every Scott sport canoe.

Our beamiest paddling canoe. With 42" of width this unique craft gives the sports-minded paddler a solid base to enjoy fishing, bird watching and sight-seeing. It is designed for less extensive paddling but a real joy when the added feature of stability is a must. With the addition of oarlocks and an optional third center seat the Drifter is transformed into an admirable rower.

The 12' Feather is another original Scott , designed to meet the needs of the outdoor enthusiast wanting a lightweight small craft that could be easily portaged and propelled by a small outboard motor. Our suggestion is a 1 or 2 hp motor. Small lakes and streams are an effortless challenge when exploring in your 12' Feather. For the added sureness of a stable ride we have built it extra wide and added foam floatation sponsons on each side. Always a dry ride to your favorite pond.

14' Bushman

The Bushman and Woodsman are two y-stern designs that will increase your range for finding the best fishing sports. Clamp on a 4 hp motor and your memorable moments begin. In comparison the Bushman, although shorter has a load capacity exceeding the Woodsman. The Woodsman is a sender, sleek craft which can be easily paddled or propelled with a motor. (Bushman shown).

14' Bushman

The Makobe is a favorite of the fisherman or hunter. This large load capacity canoe gives you the stable sure ride of a small boat. Propelled with a 4 or 6 hp motor your distant campsite will be your next stop in a very short time. After loading up the kids, tent and gear, there is still plenty of room for mom and dad. Fishing, camping and roasting wieners over the fire - is there any better way to enjoy a family outing?

The 21' Husdon Bay is a larger version of the 18' Albany and naturally will take a larger motor to push the increased load capacity. Consider a 9 hp for the Albany and a 20 hp for the Hudson Bay. Standard construction features include: heavy duty laminates, triple keel with aluminum pipe reinforcing, minimum of eight beefy aluminum cross ribs, cast aluminum nose and corner caps with built-in handles, extra wide ash gunwales and thwarts.

The stern seat on both is a solid wooden seat covered in fiberglass with floatation materials within. The 21' Hudson Bay comes standard with a solid center seat of the same construction. The 18' Albany has inside mounted ethafoam sponsons for additional flotation. (Albany shown).

18' Albany

We call this boat our workhorse of the North. It is a favorite with outfitters, camps and lodges. You will not find a boat better suited to big waters, open bays and unpredictable conditions. The superb construction is unsurpassed in the toughness category. The 22' James Bay is capable of handling a 40 hp motor.
 
Standard construction features include: heavy duty extruded aluminum gunwales, cast aluminum nose and corner caps, 1/8" x 3/4" steel nose strip, four reinforced keels, aluminum cross ribs, fiberglassed in sub-floor, fiberglassed plywood seats with floatation materials inside and ash splash rails.

Great for families or fishermen who want to take to the water in a cartopping boat that will grant the ride and stable feel you enjoy. These two units are great for motoring with a 4 hp motor, or you have the option of rowing if you would prefer a little exercise.
