Compared
to recreational canoes, touring canoes are usually longer,
sleeker and slightly deeper. They track straight, travel
distances with little effort and carry large loads. Scott
touring canoes are designed to feel very solid, stable
and offer excellent control in rougher waters keeping
you drier, safer and warmer thus adding to your paddling
pleasure.

Elite |

Durable,
nimble and exceptionally fast for the size, best describes
the 16' Echo constructed of fiberglass and the 16' Elite

Pro-former |
 |
|
|
This
fine design is an excellent touring canoe for two or more
people. Families love the quick ride and stable feel. Continuous
end to end flare on the sides make this an exceptionally
stable craft. The sharp entry and exit lines part the water
effortlessly granting straight-ahead speed with every stroke.
The Pro-former responds well to sudden weight shifts which
are common when paddling with children or the family dog.
Truly a rare combination of beauty and performance. (Shown

4 " Advantage |
 |
|
A
true blend of tradition and contemporary design. The 17'4"
overall length provides high cruising speed with a minimum
of effort. Sharp bow and stern stems cut cleanly, advancing
you through the water so easily. The Advantage is a natural
addition to its 16' Echo/Elite sister with a few slight
alterations. The lines were slightly softened, the hull
was given a modest 1.5" rocker and slight uplift at the
bow. These selective added touches ensure the Advantage
to be a very gentle well mannered canoe. An all around
pick for versatility in a larger craft. (Shown w/optional
Teal yoke)
